Rehoming Assistance for Australian Shepherds
We are always ready to help Australian Shepherds find new, loving homes when their owners are no longer able to care for them.
Our rehoming program provides an alternative to placing your Aussie in a rescue, shelter, or animal control facility. Whenever possible, our goal is to give each dog a smooth transition directly from one home to another.
We take the time to learn about each dog—their temperament, personality, needs, training, and what type of home will be the best fit. We then work to find a home that is well suited to that individual Aussie and can provide the care, commitment, and lifestyle they need.
Some situations are urgent and do not allow enough time to arrange a direct placement. When necessary, we can step in to prevent the dog from being placed in a shelter, rescue, or animal control facility and provide the care, boarding, training, and preparation needed while we work to find the right home.
A rehoming fee may apply. Fees vary depending on the individual dog and the circumstances of the rehoming. Fees may reflect the care, boarding, training, and other resources provided when we rescue and/or take a dog into our care, as well as the individual qualities of the dog.
Some of these dogs that need a new home have extensive training, exceptional breeding, or other qualities that make them particularly special.

Remi is a remarkable Aussie and very well trained in obedience and continuing to be trained on the ranch.
He is, of course, gorgeous with his rare dark liver red merle coat (which was groomed short), deep copper points, white markings, and those blue eyes!
He is extremely smart and wants to learn and experience everything - willing to trust you to go on new adventures. Looks for your approval and commands. He learns very fast! He is very playful and invents his own games and understands new games quickly.
He loves people and even likes to play the host to greet visitors. He has learned to be in a pack and gets along with other dogs. He is around 60lbs and holds his own. He bonds deeply and is highly loyal and devoted. He will let you know if someone or something is in the area.
He has been introduced to horses and cattle and shows caution, curiosity, drive and respect but not fear.
Remi is a remarkable soul and deserves the best home so he can be the best he can be and provide his endless love and devotion to a new family!
